    Thats what im goin for G. I figure Ill just drive my truck with the 5.3 while im building the 6.0 Gonna do cam and maybe heads. What heads should I go with? Stock wise?

    Bought a 5.3 short block and Malhe Ls6 pistons an rods cheap. Gonna build a high compression 5.7 and spray the hell out of it.

    Any idea what my compression would be? I have an all late model silverado salvage yard right down the road from me. So I dont think I will have any problems gettin parts.

    if your going to spend that money on a sts turbo setup you might as well buy an 418 stroker and put your 5.3 heads on it

    Little late, since you have already decided. If you want to haul a$$ and get great mpg get the STS. If you want to be in the middle of the pack do the larger motor and cam.
