Final numbers once it cooled 505/502tq.
I didn't get back on the dyno until late afternoon, so it was kind of hot, but I got over 500hp with a small cam, 6L, and 7psi.
I'll try 10psi next week

Them are some NICE numbers!Ya just gotta love those MP turbos, lol. Best bang for the buck. I made 505 with my old 4.8 with a T70 at 11 psi and a similar cam.

Pound for Pound, you're right, a front mount will make more power and spool easier, at the same time.
One of the key things to making power is getting rid of that exhaust. That's why a properly sized downpipe is important.
With the rear mount, you have to downsize that housing for quicker spool up, which in turn limits flow. There's a big compromise.
I would guess the length of tubing has a lot to do with it too.
Most run a much larger turbo as well, which makes more power.
I'm sure there are more technical reasons, haha, but oh well.
