    I'd go bigger in a car. Lots of guys are putting HUGE cams in the GTOs, G8s, and Vettes, and they are still very street able. Try something like a 232/236?

    Yea, for the convertible. That's why I figured a 228R would be enough cam for what I'm wanting. It's a 3,400lb car compared to a full size truck.

    well what size motor is in there? if its a 5.3 or 5.7 id say go for the 228, but if its a 6.0 you might want to check out there torquer II.

    It's an LQ4 (6.0L) and will have ported and polished 317's.
