    The LS3 is the higher HP motor in the 6 speed manual cars. It does not have the DOD.

    The L99 is the same motor--with the lower output--and is in the automatic cars and is equipped with DOD. Both motors are 6.2L in displacement.

    I think he means that it will be in the same price range as the rest of the competition and not overly priced crap like the chrager srt8. 35,000 is less than the the above and more than a gt but kills both of them. also only 2 grand more than a G8GT and what the GTO was and less than a G8GXP with the same motor. But of course you already know this

    We got 2 in on Friday. One was a orange 2SS, price tag was $47K. Automatic. () It was ordered in for a demo for the owner of the dealership and he can't drive standard. The other was still on the other end of town at the clean up department, I know it was red, didn't get a close look at it though.
