    dang i wish i was you ha ha i wont a 408 pretty bad
    04 1500 5.3L custom hp tuners tune by myself don have a pic of it yet so hear is my old 01 chevy 5.3 460hp 13.669 @ 116

    why does everyone go 408,why not go like the 418 i had my eyes on from tsp?

    just a grate motor to work with i ges its proven its self but try the 418 if you wont to stick out

    418= fail because of such a long stroke and smaller boar. since u will be na u will defiantly want a more Square motor what i mean is a 3in boar with a 3in stroke is a square motor and a 4.030 boar and a 4" stroke is almost a square motor, its close enough where a 418 is like a 4.010" boar and a 4.100 or 4.125 stroke im not a fan personally. be carefull when building ur self mine was a epic fail lol

    383 are similar to 418's smaller stroke yes (4") but u have a smaller boar and ur getting way out of square IMO, i love 408's and am planing on making 2 (not trying to be gready ) but with upgraded parts for the boosted 408 i want it wont cost but 1500 or so to make 2! but a 6.0 would not be different IMO but a 6.2 would and if u do id go ls3 just cus its that much different and that much better ls3 corvettes with exhasut cam and tune put out 500+ to the wheels, i would still go 408

    damn bro!!! FI you didnt like? now you wanna stay N/A? what gives? lol good luck on whatever you decide!!! 408 is a sweet azz motor if done right!!!! HKE is and will be building mine!!! as soon as i had enough of this stock bottom end 6.0 which just keeps on treating me right!!!


    408 NA with a ls3 top end
