    3 inch lift

I will never do another body lift, hate em'! That's why I used the skyjacker 3inch lift on my 04, and love it. The ride is damn near like factory even with an extra inch of crank. The lift was a full 3 inch drop in the front, and i cranked another inch to level it out with the factory keys. The rear comes with a 2 inch block to stack on the factory 2 inch. As you can see, i used my factory 16x7 wheels with 285/75/16 BFG KMII's. The tires are close to the upper control arm but do clear.. A 305/70 would not work, but a 295 or 315 tire might. I wanted to go with the 295's but couldn't get them in the mud terrains..

i've had my body lift on now for almost 7 months...put about 10,000 highway miles, and have had played offroad several times, everything still fits great. No added noise, no added uncomfort, just bigger tires...

ONLY complaints i have: I never got gap guards, so the bed looks a little sloppy (but not enough for me to spend 70 and fix it)

every now and then if I take a turn like a complete maniac, i feel a slight CLICK in the gas pedal. Not even sure if it's from the body lift, but I noticed it right after that. Might just need to tighten the bolts, might be something rubbing, not worried about it.

Best option for the price IMO...on these style trucks, the frame doesn't show as bad as the OBS did stock AND a set of nfabs or the like will cover it completely.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

I too went with a 3" body lift, and it's been on for almost 1 yr now, and everything works just fine. However, I did go with the gap guards so that it doesn't look too "redneck". I had installed SuperMaxx Keys earlier and raised the front a good 2.5 inches to level it out. I installed 285/75/R16 Hankook DynaPro MT's, and there was a little rub when making hard turns, so I decided to put the 3" body lift on. The stance is really good. I went with a 16" x 10" Helo Maxx6 chrome wheels with 4.1" of backspacing and -28 mm of offset. The tires stick out about 2.5-3.0 inches from the fender, and IMO it really looks great. I'm still considering a slight suspension lift of about 4"s, but I may have an issue with the garage door...especially if I go with 35's. To date...I have no complaint with the setup. If anything, I will need to invest in longer and sturdier shocks, but that's cheap in the whole scheme of things.

Good luck...so far no problems with my '04

You dont need a suspension lift to run 33s. Just crank up the torsion and get it aligned. Stock or aftermarket keys will give you the same lift.

I run 285/75/16 bfg ko's with only turning up the keys a little to level it out and it works great on the highway in the mudd or flexing while climbing (my favorite) never had an issue with rubbing at all
