    Well.. some bolt ons and deleted restrictions would boost the HP greatly, would it not? I mean, its a 400..

    just sell both as is on craigs list what you dont get for the truck that 400 should make up for

    get a 350 and bore and stroke it to a 408. those motors will create some big power.

    350 chevy or Pontiac? a 408 small block has got to be expensive to build

    A Chevy 350 will hardly go to 408 but a Chevy 400 is only 0.040" over away from the same.

    We still have no idea what engine this topic is about.

    wel they now make a csb 408 stroker thats just like mine with a 4in crank and 4.030 boar i was talking to my engines teacher about it at tech and he liked em but said they were kinda tricky he hadent built one yet but it sounded way expensive for a sbc

    Its just a pontiac 400 small block out of 77 GP.. About all the info I can give ya.
