    Tell you what. I'll flash mine with GM equipment to see what happens then Allen retunes it for free. He'll know when he checks the logs what happened and I'll then have a Nelson tune.

    If he locked it, you won't be able to.
    When someone wants a retune, we always send out a retune first, then we'll get their PCM back, obviously locked, then when the next customer wants a tune, we use the next pcm on the shelf, since it's locked, we have to use a stock compatible file to unlock it, any OS that it the same allows us to unlock it, car or truck. Then we can use the Ease or Tech II stuff to flash them, if we don't unlock it and try to flash it, the system will allow you to go through the entire Wizard crap, then fail, "no communication"

    English Allen. I'm not as smart as I act. Can I reflash mine to GM spec even though it's locked.....or not?

    What about if it has a hypertech program on it can it be rewriten or is it locked. Theirs one on my truck and i dont have the hypertech unit its self and i was looking at getting hptuners, so is it locked or can i just over write it with out a problem?

    As long as it's no locked, it can be overwritten.
