red wings with oil field sole.... ive had my last pair for almost 4 years. if you are ever walking in oil, they have the best traction.

Wow, no votes for Chippewa's! By far the most comfortable and longest lasting boot Ive ever owned. I had two pair of Redwings before this, both were issued to me, neither pair lasted more than 3 months.

Ive had these Chippewas for over 4 years now and they get worn at least 4 days a week during the fall/winter/spring. Only signs of wear are on the toes from either banging them off things at work or dropping things on them.

in my line of work how long they last isnt all that important, its comfort and traction. you can get some boot with a synthetic sole that will last forever, but doesnt really matter when you slip and fall down a 40' flight of stairs, or worse out of 100'+ derick. and im on my feet 12 hours a day 7 days a week at work. just my .02
