Adding more leaf? You mean Add-a-leaf? Thats more lift and axle wrap I wont want though! Lmao! The only Add-a-leaf I would ever run is a zero rate because it virtually changes nothing except adding an inch.

Greg- Thanks for the site Ill check it out!

add a leaf = higher spring rate = less wrap. your wrap is coming from your blocks

I know exactly where the wrap is coming from. Thats why I want the bars installed to compensate.

I LIKE THE WAY YOU THINK!

Ive been considering really hard taking the body lift off and selling it for cheap.

No you dont 'add-a-leaf'. Go to a spring shop, and get half a leaf (yes they sell them) add it to the FRONT of the leaf pack, it will not lift the truck, or really change the spring rates at all. once the HALF leaf is installed in the front of the pack and then clamp them with leaf clamps. Your ride will not change at all and it will eliminate axle wrap by stiffening the front of the leaf pack.

Its a tried and true method. Dodge has done it for YEARS with they're 'superstock' leaf springs from way back in the 60's. I've cut some pretty serious 60ft times in the past with a setup like this. Best part is it look stock

Lou from muscle car did this a few years ago with Project blue hair.
Yup, you can really mix it and matching to suite your setup, its a tried and true method that works amazing. sure its more work than just throwing up some slapper bars but IMO is a much better, more reliable and consistent setup that will last years without any issues. I've tried damn near every traction device in the book, and when keeping a 'stock' suspension this is one of my favorite ones.
