    when ordering my converter i asked if i should just use yanks break in procedure or if he recomended something different. here is a close quote of what he said.

    "i never understood why yank recomends a break in period with their converters. theres not any reason to do it that i can think of. make sure its full of fluid and drive it however you want."

    I am with Red. Unless your tune is setup to lock the converter under WOT then it will never lock. As for the TCC clutch if the converter is worth what you paid you will not have any slipping when it applies. I do not see a need for a break in procedure for a TC.. I think Yank is the only MFG that actually has a procedure on their website. I think it is more of a way for that mfg to wiggle out of warranty more than something that will actually pro long the life of the part.
