The worst thing about a 98 (or almost any F-car) is the body. What flimsy cars they are.

I think the new one is weird looking. What will the 2015 car look like....a 1971 Camaro? Retro has run its course.

Look at the pricing too....and expect most of the 1st half of the new ones to not only be loaded and expensive, but also have premiums added to the price. It wouldn't surprise me to see $5-10K added for no other reason but because they'll be in short supply for a while. After 2-3 years, the lots will be glutted with them...LOL...just like the SSR and GTO.

    My $0.02

Gary--you should opt for the Z/28 version. GM reworked the model classifications this time around...LS/LT (RS appearance package) for the 6 cylinder, the base V8 will be the SS...and the top of the line will be the Z/28.

Also, from what I have read, the base V6 car with the 3.6L DI motor and the 6 speed manual won't be a slouch. 0-60 in ~6 secs and low 14 sec 1/4 mile time. But yeah, there will be bugs to work out with this car--but GM actually took their time doing this one, hoping to work all of the crap out by delaying the production slightly... But we will see...

    I'd take one if I didn't have a car I already liked.

Tell me about it, I had a '98 Z28, hated it, lol, but I like the others, I think it had something to do with being the first ones out.
GM has really made a point to make this Camaro perform, in styling, performance and interior, I don't think it'll be an issue if you order the first year.
I'll have to actually order mine, I like the SS model, comes with larger 14" brakes, HID's, trim, etc. Looks cool.
Mine will definitely be an auto, whatever model I get.

Yea, I doubt there will be very many "first year bugs" They have been perfecting this car since 2004. I think there might be a few things but its been 5 years of work, research, testing and a lot of money spent trying to make this car perfect. My dad might get one.
