Did you check into the thingie near Nocona? I think trucks are allowed there.

To Muenster you'd go up 35W to Denton, then 35 to Gainesville, then 10 minutes west on 82. It's about 40 minutes north of Texas Motor Speedway.

Nocona is another 20 minutes west of Muenster but if you were going there straight from FW, you'd probably take 287 north through Decatur to Bowie and then north through Montague to Nocona. That's probably a good 1:45 from the north loop...maybe less on a low traffic day.

    Ain't that the truth, Dale.

nonecktribe I'll have to look into those, I enjoy trail riding a little more than mud, but a little mud is fun from time to time. Just takes forever to get it all cleaned up!

i think a LS1truck 4x4 meet would be a cool idea though. i'm not much for serious trail runnin. i just like to hit a lil mud and small trails everynow and then. i know my IFS is inferior to a jeeps SFA lol.

Agree with you there... I like trails but some of the jeep type trails I've been on are so dang of a tight squeeze for a full size truck, I like to manuver in and over stuff but don't want to kill my paint doing it!

A 4X4 truck meet would be sweet. Get together and take a trip up there to that spot in Oklahoma you mentioned.

it would be cool. that place isn't really a place for hours of wheelin even though there are trails i haven't tried yet there. there is alot to run up on and try though. alot of folks go wheelin in the platter flats up here too. never been there though.
