Go to Academy. They have a saw'd off, Mossberg 12 gauge, pump action, black, holds lots of double 00 buck shots....Can be used for any intruders or the occasional peeping Tom also. Comes with a pistol grip also....This is what I can't wwwaaait to use when some intruder tries to come into my house....If I run out of shells, I'll have a 45 for back up.....That is if they get by Sora, the angry female heeler....David and Ricky have meet her

Just be careful that u r not in the city limits, cops will not be happy if you shoot a gun off in the city limits. Mossberg 12 or 20 gauge with some number 8 chot will work fine. Or so like i did last week go me a big freaking 2 x 4 and chopped a snake in half in the front yard.....

Mossberg is a fine inexpensive shotgun. I have sold hundreds of them and owned several. Hell I own one now. Remington 870 base models are better with the exception of how much faster they rust. Want one on the cheap. Go to your nearest pawn shop and buy a New england firearms 20ga for less than 100.00 and some of the shells mentioned above and you will be good. A snake only takes one shot with a 20 gauge. When I lived in south Alabama I kept a Mossberg 500 in the truck for snakes. Never had a prob with it.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
