    i learned my 20's are too heavy to race in. i go on my stock rims with 245/50/16(too short, but hookup great) and i still have my 3.42 gears. you can get slicks from jegs or summit, but with slicks, you need a driveshaft loop to run at the track(here at least)

    Yea I belive thats what I used to run on my 20s, an they sucked bad. Now I just use my stock tires. But I cant stall over 2000RPM or my tires(stock ones) will break lose. What are a good brand of tire to run?

    hmmmmm........ my GTII's grip pretty good. sometimes I get a slight wheel hop.
    but I run normal street tires when I go out to the track.
    285/60/16's all the way around.
    60' = 2.0X to a 2.1X depending on track conditions.
    gonna try and run some drag radials or slicks here in a few months.

    I did get a 14.35 with a 2.04 60' on the GT2's.

    Last time I went out with them though, I got something like a 13.42 with a 2.5 60'. Slicks were good for 12.6x's w/ 1.8x's 60'.

    LOL .. I just found one slip 14.58 @ 101.61 with 2.68 60'.
