They did. But its a drop from a 4x4 since they are on a 4x4 frame.

Collection of Lowering Notes and Best Practices - SilveradoSS.com

You should read this and it might help your decision. Also KY Silverado has a lowered 4wd truck that looks great. My lowered Z71 has a kit from Mcgaughys I also have a slam air helper spring kit in the back. It was bad before I put the airsprings in. Now the ride is better than before I lowered it.

my 2/3 drop is perfect to me. Keys or spindles up front, Belltech 3" drop leafs out back. Same suspension as yours.

Don't drop your truck! Only homos (cough, cough...DAVID) drop their truck.

LOL, just kidding Dave. Anywho--dropping an AWD truck is a hassle cause you have to worry about getting the right pinion angles set for both axles and you run the risk of damaging your (expensive) drivetrain if you don't get everythiing aligned correctly. You might not be able to get your alignment comepletely straight, you might get drivetrain shudder, and you can place extra stresses on your ball joints.

I think your truck looks great Daniel. But it's your call--and your truck--so do as you please.
