they put these same 243 heads on 4.0 bore LS2's, so why not on an LQ9. Should work fine.

The best head to get if your going to go 402 or 408 is the L92 and L76 intake.

what kind of numbers you think i can see at getting out of a regular 364ci w/11.1 compression with a cam with a 220/224 112 LSA, with full bolt ons?

I'd like to build this motor somewhere around the 400+rwhp range N/A and be able to throw 150 shot periodically when I want to. If I can get away with buying a rotating assembly that would be even better on the pockets. Any help guys on what would work?

with the 243s, you should be over 400rwhp; more with a bigger cam.

thanks tyler.. We bored it 30 over.. Next up is the crank, rods and pistons. Hope to get this motor built and running before the end of the year. Thinking about investing in buying a ARP head stud kit while i'm at it since I plan on spraying 300 shot. I definetly got my work ahead of me on this little project. I was thinking Cheap build Hahaha..my ASS!! Playing with the big boys now got to pay to play...

Well...One of my many to come plans and ideas have changed already..

I'm going to go on the budget build and will be building only a sprayed 370 instead of a all out forged 408 on the bottle.
