    Wait till he finds out how much it is to Build an Allison tranny. 8,000.00 for the top of the line.
    Just a word from someone who went through the Diesel Power Craze, Yes a 1,000 dollar chip and programmer have the ability to get u up to 220 extra hp. After that you will have to fork over some serious dough to correct all the issues you will run into.

    Just my two cents, I left an 05 Cummins Pushin about 475 hp and 1150f/lbs of torque to get my gas gussler, but Good luck with it.

    Diesels are fun, I have a high 12 sec. D-max, The tranny is only 5k, and will hold anything Ive thrown at it. And the 350 hp PPE tuner is the way to go. Good luck man,

    im staying gas powered for a while but cant blame u for going diesel. the nnbs trucks are sick with the diesels. ill prob wait for the 6 speed auto and 6.2 to hit the chevys before i buy a new truck. leaning towards tbss tho...
