What don't you like about the nv3500?
I'm guessing the nv4500 1st gear is a granny gear? Start out in "2nd" for unloaded daily driving. Anybody know 5th gear ratio in the 4500?

I finally slipped my clutch the other day, but I was beating on it and it was after about 15 donuts, I have a brand new TKO 600 that Im swapping in with my 6.0. I really dont care for 6 gears and it will hold a helava lot more than the t56. I have everything for the conversion and with the mid shift location on the TKO the shifter is in the same place as factory instead of between the seats. I will let everyone how the swap goes and how I like the tranny.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

Does anyone honestly think GM or Joe Gibbs have gone out of their way to remove the transmission to upgrade the clutch? I don't hardly think so.

    when I had my 92 excab with a 4.3 . . . I got 100K out of the stock setup.
Then after I lifted it, 33s and a 3.73 in the rear, it lasted 15K, after rebuild #3 it lasted until 243K when I sold it. Even then 2nd gear syncro was FLAT !
