i simply stuck the TB bypass deal into the now extra port on the rad. its the one you currently have capped off. i went down to ace hardware and took a piece of the hose that once fit the rad (heater core hose) and got me a nylon reducer that fit the smaller tb hose.. works for me..

A poor man buy's it twice
How did you set up the shifter? Did you use linkage or did you convert to cable? If you kept the linkage please post up a picture or something! I'm swapping in a Vortec 454 and 4L80-E into my 89 K-1500 and am stuck on this linkage stuff. I want it to look stock inside so a floor shifter is out of the question.....![]()

modular93fox: I fixed that a few months ago, here is what it looks like now
xXxSilveradoxXx: I used a floor shifter from Lokar (Lokar: Floor Mount Automatic Transmission Shifters) The stock linkage would have worked with some modifying, but I always wanted a floor shifter! Cable shifter might be easier for you and shift smoother (here is one example Lokar: Column Cable Shift Linkage)
small1town9kid: Thanks! I haven't been driving it much the last couple months due to the snow. I can't wait for this crap to melt and for Silver Lake to open!
