I am putting an 2000 ss camaro ls1 in a 96 z71. the motor still has the entire motor mounts on it could i modify those mounts or do you recommend your mounts. I'm looking for the easiest way
yours sounded simple to just bolt them to the motor and weld them to the x-member

call this place and ask for thier newer design, CAR SHOP LS1GM LS1 LS6 CONVERSION MOTOR MOUNTS ADAPTER PLATES $45.95 BUY ONLINE

their newer design allows the engine to sit back 1" further than the older design.

We just used these on a '92 and the stock manifolds cleared a lot better this time.

Uh ya, the offer to make engine mounts has expired, lol, but these will do the trick!
