Correct about using a 3 wire TPS to PCM if I change to a DBC throttle body.

You will need 3 wires for the T.P.S. and 4 for the I.A.C. Let me look it up tomorrow---It's bedtime.

    Thank You for the info.

On my pinout diagram for the PCM, C1-8 & C2-24 are not used and the C1-60 has an orange/black low reference. Does something have to be activated in a tune for the not used locations or it will work regardless?

    Thanks
    Dennis

I got the DBW problem worked out. I forgot to label the pins for the TAC motor and never pinned them back in to the TAC Module. I now have throttle.

C1-8 and C2-24 aren't used on yours because you have a DBW harness. Remove the wire from C1-60 and don't use it. It is a low reference for a secondary fuel sending unit. It will be the low reference for the TPS now.
You need to run 7 wires from the I.A.C. and T.P.S. to the PCM and flash the PCM with a DBC calibration.

If only they would stay that responsive after bolting all the stuff on. Sounds good, glad you got it all worked out. I think you'll be happy with the dbw. I was a little worried when I chose to stay with the dbw but now am really glad I did.

I will keep this in mind if I decide to change it later. But since I got it all worked out I think I will keep going this route. Thank you for your help and knowledge.

I hear the DBW can be tuned to become more responsive. I will have to talk to my tuner about that when I get it stabbed in the truck and start driving it.

Finally started my swap tonight. I hope to have it in and running by this weekend. I am doing at work and in between jobs. Tomorrow is my day off and I hope to get the old motor out and new one set in so I can push it over to my bay and get started on the wiring. Once that is done I will push back on to a lift and do the exhaust.

Im still up in the air about how I will do the exhaust. I want to do 3" and maybe bend it to go out the back like factory. I will be cutting the cat out of it and weld on the heat shields, I have to be able to pass emissions and they check for the cat. My dad has done the same ting on all his trucks and never had an issue.

Pics to follow as I go along.
