I guess i just don't understand why some people on here are bragging about having "stock suspension" and being the fastest... To me it seems a little ni**er rich to be too cheap to do a 4 link so lets turn the power up so we can say we have 700+hp. If anything most of those guys would have been better off getting a 4 link and not spending all their money on the motor, but i guess that's just not as "cool".
Btw i dont have a gto its a inside joke. I have a truck lol
Did someone say GTO?
I guess I still don't understand who you are or what your GTO has to do with any of this.
What's the point of having a 4 link if you don't need one? Why waste the money on something you don't need? Mitch is trapped 124 on his 10.9 run this weekend when it threw the belt before the 1000'. If that doesn't tell you its getting down the track pretty quick, IDK what does.

Jon@Np will be doing my 4link soon ,im coming for fastest gmt900 ...i dont give a damm how i do it,but im gonna....just sit back and wait![]()
lol dude relax about the gto joke..
and besides i understand if you dont need a 4 link, but i was there last weekend and there were plenty of trucks that needed it and were making way to much power for this stock suspension they are bragging about
but you can make stock suspension work is my point. because it doesnt have a 4 link doesnt mean it spins all the way down the track. you can spend all the money in the world but money dont buy speed. you can buy parts but that dont mean a damn thing. the point im trying to prove which obviously not too many on this site get is that its something special to push the limits of stock gm parts and designs to the point that some are having troubles reaching with a completely custom radical build. i respect fast cars and am very aware that 10 and 9 second trucks are by no means the fastest rides in the world. i have a lot of respect for what mic is doing along with kurt and more.... i very well may be pissing in the wind trying to explain this but what the hell i got nothing better to do besides watch mitch struggle putting these damn windshield wipers on his truck![]()
its just a turbo 5.3 that a couple of kids threw together

I got AWD ill rip you outta the hole
So I agree with allen, in no frills run what u brung drag racing, it dont matter what the hell you got. And stock suspension would mean literally like it came from GM right? And stock block would mean like it came from GM? Which honestly is no one, cus the motor casting and "block" may be stock but the internals are far from it.
As far as motor size goes, I got smart and decided keep dumping money into this or go bigger and spend less, well I chose the latter.
