On the ECM is the signal for the PRNDL switch in drive a hot or ground?
I guess I got lucky by moving my motor back so far because I don't have to cut my driveshaft, just have to get an offset u-joint![]()

Thanks......ok how about this..the brake signal switch has 12 v constant unless the brakes are applied...if I run 12v to this wire will the ECM think the truck is moving?
If I knew I wouldn't be asking....yea it has the speed sensor on the tranny but I haven't hooked it up yet but I'm not sure if that will tell it what gear it is in
None of my conversions had the PRNDL switch hooked up on the side of the transmission. We set the tune to no PRNDL feedback to compensate for it. The PCM uses the speed sensor to run the trans, shifting and engine performance modes.
