This thread got me thinking about some ideas so I searchd around and you wouldn't believe some of the crazy $hit these guys say to do. Some things like drilling holes through the sides of all the bolts in your vehicle, I mean whos gonna waste that kinda time. I loved this suggestion though:

"Pretty Girl – Find a petite “pretty” girl. She is 60% of your mass and can save 100 to 200 lbs in body weight. If you are a fat guy, tell her to drive your race car and pick up .2 tenths of a second. If she’s ugly forget it…bad idea."

Heres the link to the rest. Drag Racing Weight Reductions - Ideas, Tips and Resources for saving weight from your race car
1991 Silverado-L33 5.3L, 212/218 .557 .562 115+4, ASP under drive pulley,180* thermostat, 90mm truck intake w/ LS3 throttle body. Shoenfeld conversion headers and duel Flowmaster exhaust. Performabuilt LVL 1 transmission and 23-2500 stall converter.
