    Sry Greg I had too. I know it was bugging other people too. I just figured Id be the one to come out and say it.

    These mods should be followed up with a convertor, and keeping it on the cheap I got a Transtar rebuilt convertor for a 4.2 Trail blazer, it stalls around 16-1800 and flashes to 2600 or so, cost me $113.00, makes having that extra hp fun to drive!!! I have the same mods but my cam is a Comp part # 54-424-11, 212-218 @ .50 .558-.563 on a 115. sounds and idles like stock. I made 318/317 at the wheels.

    big cam to small cam, there won't be much difference in hp numbers, plus, every dyno is different, so don't let this be the standard.

    Very true, but their could be a fifference in where you make that power and a difference in driveablity.

    just curious if you knew the rwhp of an 06' 4.8l with the 5 speed manual, and what kind of gains have you seen with that combo from tuning? all stock of course.

    on a standard, i'd say another 10-15% more to the wheels.

    i remember a 4.8L, 5speed on the dyno last year, small cam, shorties, 100shot, laid down 448hp to the wheels, on my greedy dyno, that's good.
