    How did you get the key to start the 5.3? I can't find the wire for the ignition switch for cranking. I found 2 wires that have power in "on" and then when you crank it they go dead. I'm using the stock 5.3 fuse block and untouched harness.

    I kept my original truck fuse box and integrated the two harnesses. so the acc on and crank positions were original only thing i did was spice the stock starter solenoid wire with the ls wire.

    Im still around guys. Living in kennesaw ga. Started a movie mechanic business about a year ago going well. hopped back on here because ill be doing a 5.3 swap in a 76 c10. I'm currently looking to get myself another ohs truck. for now I'm in my 95 impala ss
