    benefits are great, dirt cheap too but pay is about average for my area its just never enough

    I quit a 14 year career with GM to run a tire & auto repair shop. My commute to work takes about 6 minutes.

    Currently an Inspector/Surveyor in the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry. I work for the largest one in the world. I have been working the Houston Ship Channel for almost a year and starting in 2 weeks, I will be working primarily at the Exxon plant in Baytown.
    5.3, small cam, 918 springs, 7.4 rods, walboro pump, Full built 4l60, 2800-3000 stall, TB spacer, long tubes, cat delete, single 3" exhaust with Aero bullit muffler. Flaco tuned.

    As of two weeks ago i was a mechanic for H&P Drilling awesome work and 100+ hours a week so pay check was awesome, now ive been demoted and nothing more than a glorified rough neck working on sta ked rigs(they have no contracts so not running) thinking about going back to school though.
