Thread: '07 rim question

    Im planning to purchase an '07 (new bodystyle) with the 6.0l engine, along with that you get the heavy duty trans and rear. Is this an 8 lug? and who makes daily driveable drag race style wheels for this? Thanks, TODD

    go here and look at the 1500hd wheels, look like 8 lug to me. The 1500hd also comes in 16", while the 1500 comes in 17"

    I thought they were making the 6.0L availible in a reg 1/2 ton??? Similar to the VortecMaxx is now... I talked to one of my friends at the dealership and he siad the 6.2L is coming availible in the ext cab like the VHO and Maxx were....

    According to the chevy site its only in the HD.

    Really? I was looking at an '07 Sierra with the VHO package a few weeks ago. But maybe GMC and Chevy have different options.

    was it the new gmc&#39;s or the classics? r they doing that with both this year like how they r going with either body style?

    It was the new body style, and I&#39;m not sure if they&#39;re doing the VHO on the classics.

    hmm, suprising they didnt go with the new generation engine since they got a new generation truck, and why would they stick with the 6.0 when they have the 6.2 at their disposal?&#33; wow doesnt make sense to me.

    I think the 6.2 maybe used in the Denali.

    makes sense, forgot bout the denali, gmc isnt the brand im most familiar with. im a chevy guy, but its all the same, for the most part. different names and styling cues, but they like people r pretty much the same when u get right down to it&#33;
