There's been talk of a meeting up at the track, I just wanted to start the thread and see when you guys can make it.

San Antonio Raceway is a very nice track and we can BBQ there if you want.
It's not too far from Houston, Austin and SA.

With the Holidays coming up I'm sure most of you have some days off.
The track is open on Wednesday and Friday for time only runs, which is us.

Would Friday, January 2, 2004 be about right? All the family stuff will be done and it seems like most of us may just take the rest of the week off after New Years.

I'm pretty sure I know who will be there:
    02Denal
    01Thunder
    vv8
    myself
    GMCwantsLS1
    mustbbret
    bill (not on this forum)
    my father in law
A guy from Austin (not on this forum)

That's already 10 of us, and if we can get Hitman and a few down south, cough cough Tiburon and agrief, that would be great.

We don't have to bbq at the track there are plenty of parks in SA.

What do you guys think, who will be there? Any suggestions?

For those who have tunes already we can do some tweaking, those who don't there might be a discount in it for you.

    see ya at the track,

    allen

Hey guys, sorry if i missed anybody, of course everyone is invited and the more the better, so we're all important, hahah.

that would be great, rgv, tiburon, agr, all of ya'll come on up.

Since nobody debated the day, it looks like

January 2, 2004 will be good to meet up. I don't think we need to bring all kinds of food and stuff, if it's around 10 of us, maybe just a few of us can bring something and ppl can pitch in when they come. That way whoever wants to eat can drop a few bucks and enjoy the food, if not, that's fine too.

Anybody wanna suggest a place to meet? I say a whole evening at the track is awesome, we won't have time to cook, but if we meet somewhere during the day to eat that is fine too, hell we can just meet at denny's or whatever and eat about 3pm or so and then head out to the track at 5:30 and get there at 6pm. It's a blast to see about 10 trucks hauling down the road, everyone better watch out, lol.

so what do you think so far, how about some of those ideas?

I don't see why we can't have a meet every few months or a few times a year.

    thanks,

    allen

I may try to make this, depends on how the Nazis...er...area managment decides to setup the holiday schedule. Should be fun, wonder if my truck would bust a 15.999?

    Allen,

Sounds good on the 2nd, I'll be there and bring two of my buddies with bowties.
Let me know what I need to bring.. I agree, nothing like seeing 15 trucks going down the road. I can see the Chevy ad now ......That thing got a hemi??? As all 15 trucks past him..
