Well I got rid of the flowmaster muffler this weekend and ran 3in exhaust out the side in front of the rear wheel. I am running a 3 in and 3 out thrush glass pack. Man i love it. I know some may say a glass pack what the heck. I have run them on several builds and keep coming back to them. I also get a flow thru design for hardly any money.

What was wrong with the flowmaster? I love mine (but I only have a 5.7 TBI). No good on the Gen III?

I just dont like the sound everyday. There was this one rpm the one i spent most time at and it drove me nuts the sound. Plus I have a straight thru design now.

How much did it cost your for the glasspack, and can I get a sound clip. I have no muffler on right now. But I would like to connect it to the tailpipe now, and also be legal again.

You can pick one up for anywhere between 10 bucks to 50 bucks. Depending on finish you want. I will see if i can get a sound clip. Might take a bit. First time for a sound clip for me.

Thanks Tim. I am not worried about the wheel. I am getting a yr pass to a local wash. I can take it everyday if I want. It will be up there everyday. You have to love deals like that. That does not include me detailing it on the weekends.
