Ok guys,
I finally got the 2/4 drop+sways and I'm loving it.
When I first got into it, it felt like it was lower than a 2/4 drop, so I was scared I would scrape everything. I guess my expectations were high because I don't scrape anything...but I do have to go slooooow.
I already bottomed out when I went over a speed bump in the mall parking lot too fast. I slammed the frame...my girlfriend laughed...not because of the fact that I bottomed out, but because she said it was as if I had hurt myself...my face cringed up and it was as if I was really hurt...heh...well...yea...
All I can say is it handles 100x better than stock. As I said, on the streets it handles very well, and on the freeway you can feel EVERYTHING. It's not as bad as I expected though, I thought it would be worse....but I didn't get this kit for comfort...
I already took it to a few places where there's canyons and nice windy roads...
It feels AWESOME when it dips into the curves...sorry I can't compare just the 2/4 drop to the 2/4 drop with the sways, but I can tell you that body roll/lean is 99% eliminated!!!
I will get some vids of it taking corners, etc. and put them up for you guys...
I have yet to go down Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood....there are some loooong ass bends that I'm dying to hit at 90MPH.
All in all, it kicks ass
It doesn't handle like a Vette of course, but I mean, it's a truck. For what it is...it handles awesome now.
Oh yea, this is what my truck looks like now
