Thread: Finally getting the engine

    Just talked to the builder today, www.nickensracing.com , they'll have my engine done this friday! I had them take their time on it because my truck is completely apart, so there was no rush.
    The engine is a 408, je pistons, forged everything, 230/228 cam, and all that other stuff hahah. The compression should work out to about 8.7:1 and I'll push quite a bit of boost through it!
    Now it's on to the trans and all the other goodies!

    I'll keep you posted on the progress.

    Also, I'll be tuning a couple of 6.0L's with just a cam upgrade and tune. We'll see how those turn out. One will be a 224 cam and the other 228 cam, I expect about 450 from the engines. I'll take some vids to show you how good the idle quality is.

    cant wait to see it run at TR shootout .exactly which 6.0's are you expecting those #'s from?
