    Mobile Cell Phone Repeaters?

Does anyone have any experience with these? A lot ofthe locations I work on are in BFE and I have extremely spotty service. I have both a US Cellular air card and my AT&T phone. From what I have read, they are basically service provider specific. If I was to spend the 400$ on one, I'd like to get one for my personal phone. Its not so much that I need the cell service, as I usually have enough make a quick call or shoot off a quick text. I need data service so I can send reports every few hours. I'm sick of having to leave mu location and drive around looking for a few bars so I can send an email.

Any experience with these, good or bad, is appreciated.

Halliburton bought one for us and it was VERY hit or miss and definitely not the money I'm assuming your still working around the north OK southern Kansas border we had HELL out there with our company att phones and we tried boosters, repeaters, old school phones you name it and what they ended up with along with myself is we just bought a prepaid verizon phone and loaded a few minutes on it and it did wayyyyy Better than anything att could do also a few guys tried sprint and it was better than att but still less than Verizon good luck to you that place is a wasteland lol

I agree with ConeKiller01.. we have 20+ sales force persons all around the country.. and the only ones that ALWAYS had reliable service on the air cards and\or phones were the ones we had on Verizon..we then moved all the accounts to verizon and never looked back.. they have a killer MiFi device to use as well.
that, or get a sat phone

The closest Verizon store is over an hour away. If I do end up getting a personal air card, it will be from them. However, that is neither here nor there and doesn't help at all. Like I said, I need it for data, not making calls.

Pretty sure you can buy a prepaid hot spot from Verizon At best buy or walmart the jetpack something is what we used and i links up to 4 decices at once (ATT iphones in our case lol) and if the closest walmart or best buy is an hour and a half away, you need to move lol

They work pretty good up here. 100 miles out of any major city and they're required. Also, I was looking into a external GPS for my iPad that I could also route emails through. Just a thought

i have both att and verizon air cards and it depends where you are if you will get 1 or both of them to have service...the verizon is by far the fasts of the 2 but the att works in more places then the verizon does down here in this area where i work...i also have a booster in my truck...i can remember the brand of my booster but its a dual band and works well with both networks i have...there are alot of good ones to select from just make shure its a dual band.
