lol...I was drilling a rivet out. Right about the time I thought "I'm putting a lot of pressure on this, I should move my hand farther away", the bit snapped, the broken piece went flying, and remainder of the bit that was still in the drill went straight through my finger and through the plastic bit holder tray I was drilling on top of. As Homer Simpson would say: "S-M-R-T ... Smart!"

    It hurt. lol

It throbbed pretty bad after I did it but not unbearable. What hurt BAD was when one of the nurses took a squeeze bottle full of medicine and irrigated it. He pressed the bottle really hard against the top and squeezed and forced the medicine through the puncture. Then he did it from the other side. He was close to becoming a patient. I got a tetanus shot then a antibiotic shot. Not really how I wanted to spend my Friday night lol. Waiting on X-rays now.

have you ever seen my thumb on my left hand?

did that hurt right away or did it take a minute?

damn dude, you need to irrigate the hell out of that thing with a salt water solution and if you have some antibiotics, start popping them now.
