    Piston Change on 13,000hp engine

    I done a piston and sleave change on one of our 13,000 hp NG engines today. I took a few pics for a little show and tell.

    Hmmm... that seems to be a fairly large piston.

    The piston change took about 4 hours, it very easy considering the size of everything. We have 18 of the of the 34SG engines that are 20 cylinder each.

    You can hold it if you can pick it up lol. It weighs about 150lbs

    That's sick man. My roomie works for centerpoint and he took me through the unionville station in La and it's crazy how big those things are. I could pick it up but just dunno how far I can get with it haha
