    after a drunk driver hit my truck

    well the photos are taken after a drunk driver hit my 01. at 11am this morning
    the rear axle is moved and pushed into the gas tank which is busted. and there is some body damage to the bed and bumper. one of the u bolts broken and there is a crack in the housing. the tow truck driver said it will prob be totaled so im not sure but here are the pics. if it is totaled im looking at a 2005 SS

    Yeah who's drunk at 11am? That does suck, but if it's not a write off it doesn't look to be a bad fix. Unless you know, that gas on the ground spontaneously combusted

    well im glad that didnt happen even though im tired of the truck. we will see what happens with all that the 05 SS seems nice though heh.

    That sucks, least you came out ok though. Truck can always be fixed or replaced.

    yup its totaled!the year and that damage is bad.....hope you get that SS

    thanks for all your concerns it means alot and i wasnt in the turck sorry if i didnt note that. this is just another of many reasons drunk drivers shouldnt be on the road. i agree with an earleir poster who is drunk at 11am and even on a sunday. hell i drink but not often and dont eever drink and drive o drive after ive had a few to many its to risky

    You *might* be able to buy it back from your insurance company if they do total it (you do have collision coverage, right?) and fix it back up. The frame doesn't look bent (or bent too much). You really could profit from this deal. I think Texas has some easy laws to get around, thus keeping your truck from having a salvage title. Good luck!

    yeah i have full coverage im going to deal with his insurance first. an if they do total it id rather just let it go and not deal with it. dont have the money to really have the money to fix it back up. would rather want to get somethin else .
