    frustrated with my truck

i traded my BIG 4x4 for this 2wd 4.8 hoping to one day to a 6.0 swap. i was really hoping to go for a street truck look on it but living out in grayson "back woods" county i do, mud and dirt is a constant. so i leveled it and put a little more offroad look to it with some XD wheels and terra tires. i did a over the rail bedliner cause i do work this truck. every time i look at some of the trucks on this site they are so badazz and clean. lowered with 20s. and i wish my sh!t looked like that! but its just not possible cause of where i live. so i'm forced to have a offroad looking truck but still wanting the hot rod power. stupid or not? anyone else ever feel this way?

yup. BUT. i've had both. lowered and 20's look awesome. but just a hint of snow of dirt in the rim and they shake like CRAZY. it is very annoying. that being said, they do look awesome.

My truck can hold its own against mustangs from a 20+ roll (really need to regear for the tires)

I'm planning on putting a turbo on as soon as I get my new trans/fuel pump in.

same problem, I am just trying to descide what i want to do, i love the mud and going fast about the same. It is hard to find a healthy medium of street to offroad.

I feel your pain Chri$09, same kinda thing in maine but instead of dirt and mud we have snow 1/2 the year and shit roads all year. I’m just going to go with 18's and a 2/2 drop. In my mind I think I will look a little sportier but maintain drivability for the state.

i was thinking of doing a 2/4 on the truck but time will tell. i have turned trucks completely around before it just took some time and a change in lifestyle lol.
