    Need to vent!

So I go get my bottle filled tonight, put ti back in the truck go to leave and it won't start! I listen and no fuel prime, so I don't know what it is with my truck and fuel pumps but it needs to grow up! This is the third time I've had to drop the tank because of the walbro acting up. I keep having problems with the wires connect to it, the gas eats through the shrink-wrap and messes up the connectors. What can I do to stop this? I already have brass terminals on the wires because of the first problem. Then I say screw it and hit the purge button, and it works awesome, but has a leak so I get to fix that too. To top off the night I go over to an ex's house that i recently started talking to again. She tells me that she's afraid of us dating again because her schedule is too busy with school and work, which it is...but really not what I needed to top off the night! Haha just had to get that off my chest, but any advice on the walbro PLEASE GIVE ME!

im not 100% familar with the setup..but couldn't you just solder the wires (outside of the tank of course) maybe use some submersible fuel line as the 'heat shrink'...put little clamps or zipties on it.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

That's the route were going to try now, it's a good pump and isn't making any wierd sounds so I know it's the wiring. All the fuses for everything checked out good and the pump relay clicks when the key is forward like usual...just 0 psi at the rail.

Maybe she baited him then gave the ol friend treatment where they talk your ear off thinking you actually give a dang about em. Unless you got to do the banana dance before that happened....

The brass insulated terminals and then 3 lays of heatshrink over those.

Mike, you don't need to have heat shrink on the wires. You can leave the wires exposed. I would do away with all of the connectors and just solder them.
