    Unclaimed Property

Heard this on the radio this morning from a couple of the comptrollers that were guests. Just click on the blue button and then fill in the three fields to see what kind of property you have unclaimed. I think they said that one person did this and found out they have 4.3 million in unclaimed property.

Total the two ladies said that just in Texas there is over 2 billion in unclaimed property.

I did this a few years ago and found around $2k from an old employer I had to pay a small processing fee of like $50 but was well worth it. I was kinda leary at first sending money like that.
