Hello,

I am a here well I have some questions. I am planning on swapping out my 5.3 engine on my 2003 suburban to a 6.0 ls2. My current engine has over 150k miles on it and is asking to be put to sleep, its knocking and well i decided to make the move. My question will it directly drop in into the suburban with out mods, better yet what all do i need to make the swap.

I have the tools to remove.

Looking for a used ls2 but what year will fit right in?

What is the estimated MPG compared to the 5.3?

Any good tunning shops around Dallas,TX?
