    Wake up call

    Hey everyone. I havent posted on here in a while...hope everyones doing good. Anyway, last friday, my avalanche got stolen from the buffalo wild wings parking lot off of macarthur and 635 around 1pm after i took my family to lunch with a full parking lot. police called around 2 the next morning saying they found it in south dallas stripped. my father and i picked it up the next day and had it towed to a dealership to start the insurance. everythings gone. wheels/tires, exhaust, audio, dash, everything. they left the seats but they slashed them and they punched the side of the truck. so while insurance people are lookin and quoting my car to be repaired or whatever, sunday my brother and i leave st.monica church in dallas early to go start cooking dinner for my dad for fathers day. we walk up to my brothers truck and theres someone inside it stealin his radio! luckily we got his liscense plate number, make/model of his car, and there was also a video camera looking right at the truck. 2 cars in 2 days. what luck. be careful what yall got layin out in your trucks...dont want yall havin to go through what my family has been through this past weekend

    I always wondered if I saw someone stealing my stuff and I had a gun in my hand if I would take their life for that... Hope I never have to find out.

    its been a total pain in the ass dealin with insurance people, the police that took over an hour to respond to our call btw, but luckily the dealership is bein really nice with everything

    the way i look at it is, if you look at your life and how great it is to be alive and all that you can experience, would you really want to take that away from another human being. i think for most the answer is no.
    afterall they are just possesions and they can be replaced but a life is something that never can be.
    just something for everyone to think about.
