    wtf

    i have a friend who has a 1992 Sonoma, and i was looking at the engine and in the engine bay there was this goofy lookin ball in there. it looked like a float from a sump pump. what in the world does that do?

    Sounds like you were looking at a vacuum reservoir. Did you see a small vacuum hose leading to it?

    Yeah lots of vehicles have those. you just dont usually see them cuz they are hidden.

    it is actully a tin can just like a quart can that beans come in that was used for a vacumm canister. they look like, well you can guess how a can of beans under the hood of a car/truck would look.
