    Gotta love GMPP

Well I drove to good air in Texas this weekend. I was in Witchataw Fall. The best time it ran up there before the , Cam and converter was 9.70 @ 71 mph. ( Its an 1/8 mile track.) Now it is running a 8.92 @ 78 m.p.h. !! Thats high 13s in the 1/4. That LS1 "HOT" cam pulls way hard up top. I Have a Yank 3000 stall and it stalls to 2800 on the foot brake. I was doing 2.00 to 2.15 60 foots. It is an awsome cam for the money. You just need at least a 3000 stall and a Nelson tune to get it to work.

I've been wanting to get an idea of what my truck will run...guess I need a converter now haha. What are you WOT shifts at? I got mine at 6200 and i might have allen raise them a little more, because the cam says power to 6500.

Dont know. My tach stops at 6000. It revs past that. I'm guessing between 6200 and 6500.

Mods are K&N CIA, Pacesetter shortys, 3 inch cat back with a cut out and 40 series Flowmaster, LS1 hot cam, Yank 3000 stall, and a Nelson tune. The truck came factory with 3.73s and E-fans. I run on 30x10.50 Hoosier slicks. The Fuzzy Dice on the mirror help alot too. The next mods are going to be Longtubes, off-road Y-pipe, and 28in slicks. I would also like to do some suspention mods to get my 60 ft down.

I hate GMPP. In my world that means General Motors Protection Plan and it makes old vehicles pay me warranty time. Sucks.

The much-hated "hot-cam" is under-rated. Nice to see somebody posting up his positive results. Congrats!!
