Talk About Snake Bit!!!
So as many of you know, I fried the #7 ringland on my truck a little while ago and it's currently under the knife. While the truck is down, I'm driving my dad's towing suburban to get around. It's a 98 with a big block 454 in it and about 100k miles on it. I hear some rattling and clanking which sounds familiar and I already know that the catalytic converter has gone bad. It clogs up and I have to have it towed. While that's being fixed, I'm driving my wife's trailblazer and go to change the oil on it and notice a rusty looking substance all over the fan and alternator. Start it up and sure enough the water pump is barely hanging on and the fan is wobbling. I get the suburban back only to find that the other cat has gone bad.
I've finally got everything back to running right (except my truck) but geesh!!! What a mess! I was getting ready to just get a bicycle and give up!
I know it could be worse (Dale, sorry!), but it's just annoying and I had to rant a little!
