    who hates school?

 so I havent touched my truck in weeks because of school. the only time I have even opened my garage was to get my mother in laws piano out of it. I have so much to do an have absolutly no time. I have 3 exams, 2 term papers, one term project, and 8 online discussions due by the 15th, most all of it is due by the 13th. end

though I guess I cant complain too much about it since I'm getting the G.I. bill, which has pretty much funded my truck. I still want some damn time to sleep every now and again.

any one else swamped like none other in school right now?

I've been done and certified for almost a year now, still have to go for the odd course when a new transmission comes out or something, or other new stuff GM comes out with. Personally I didn't find the work load in trade school all that bad. I only had to go once every 8 months or so for 2 months at a time (4 times). All I can say is keep at it and work! It'll be worth it when you're all done.

Went to class today for Hybrid service....no, not the class from last year, the new one that just started. I did so because right now I make more for an 8 hour day at school than at work. That blows especially to anyone that understands flat rate as I used to average 61 per week just a short 18 months ago. I made 380 hours in one month just a little while ago July 2007. I flagged around 100 hours in April 2009.

100 hours in a month, that's gotta sting. Glad I didn't hang around long enough to go flat rate.

Well in Canada they probably do more of the socialist way on salary....we didn't "go flat rate".

Around here you usually don't go flat rate until you're in the 4th year or fully licensed.

I hear ya! They're talking about sending me on some courses here soon too, one being the transmission course for the hybrids. 8 hour days is gonna suck! We've been doing pretty good in the past couple months. The past two pays were over 100hrs for me. I don't really care, as long as I'm over 80. Any higher than that and you hit the next tax bracket and the government just takes most of it anyway! Freakin' Canada and their damn taxes.
