I believe the 6 lug 14 bolts are semi float commonly reffered to as 14 bolt sf, and the 8 lug 14 bolts are full float or 14 bolt ff, someone correct me if I am wrong.
Very desirable upgrade for a 10 bolt guy like myself, but not sure in comparing it to the 12 bolt in your 73 K10.

Well you can get the 8 lug sf also. And the 6 lug 14 bolt is very strong axle.
The 12 is a weak sister. Truck 12's have small pinion shafts and weak c-clip axles. They are hardly related to the car 12's that even themselves need a lot of help in a race type situation. The car 12's are said to be strong only because of relativity...meaning the others are so weak.

yeah man, I was just messin with you, it is a very good axle upgrade even though it is a SF, but you dont need a FF untill you start running 40's and rock crawling.

sweet i know u were i was lookin at 33s with 4.10s i figured with the 4 speed sm465 and a np205 that would make it a good trail rig up front it has the dana 44 so it should do good

u guys think that a set of 16.5 with 33x12.50s with the rimes having a back space of 4 an 15/16s backspace will fit on my 2500 leveled with just the keys tighened up?
