    exhaust

    do you guys suggest a 2 into 1 or true duals?
    right now i just have an intake, but plan on doing a tune asap, and a cam pretty soon

    true duals was 1 of my favorite mods ,i did pacesetter headers the true duals with an x pipe in there.i went from shorties with y into 1 w/dual tail pipes .to the duals
    mods:2004 sierra ext sb,20s ,big brake kit w,hawk pads,air bagged,2006 6.0 lq4 swap,vortec supercharged10psi, air to water intercooled w/ dual electric fans on it ,snow meth injection kit,60lbers, e-fans ,big radiator swap ,cam 218 /222 548/550 comp .hardened prs .1.85 comp roller rockers ,guideplates ,crane double springs,trans 4l65e built .pacesetter l/ts true duals w/x pipe and magnaflows,14 bolt rearend swap ,3.73s,aroemotive fuel pump system w/elec.fuel controller and bypass regulator a/n fittings, taylor 10.5s interceptor gauge,aem w/b a/f ,autometer boost/vac NELSON 93 OCTANE TUNED .

    i forgot to say i would also do headers with the exhaust... ive heard that true duals would hurt bottom end power??

    not if you use 2.5 with the x pipe .when i took the x off i really did lose some low end.

    what muffler do you suggest. i dont want it too loud, but a nice sound

    also, for someone who knows more about this stuff than i do, will headers for the 6.0 work for the 6.2?

    Dont know about the 6.2 but a good sounding muffler is the Flowmaster super44 imo

    the super 44 seems like it might be a little loud, i was looking at the 40 series delta

    Don't know if they will fit 6.0/6.2 but if you are going to do headers do LT's shorties will not help HP boost. True duals with dual HFC's and Flowmaster's sound great. This set up will help with low end power. You could look at Truck Accessories, Auto Accessories, Auto Parts, Car Covers, Tonneau Cover and Seat Covers to see what fits then look at www.texas-speed.com for a good price.
