    Anyone else ready...

    ...to switch their 93 octane tune to a 87?

    Gas is getting ridiculous.

    Already did my tune...dropped 6 degrees of timing and went to 87.runs about the same but my mileage dropped a little...Crap! cant win for losing.Im going back to were i was.

    BOOHOO. gas is about $9 a gallon over here....quit y'alls whining.

    Yes but me also being in the military I know that living out of the country and prices being way higher your prolly getting a butt load of Cost of Living Allowance to Compensate for that. Over here we arent getting squat to help with the rising cost!

    they are starting to use refined gas, and some places are using "boo boo" gas which is DIRT cheap and is a few octane less then what is rated. make sure when you go get gas from a station, never go to the place with a un marked truck dumping fuel in there lines. A driver told me about this a few days ago. he said 87 is going to be about 84 -85 octane and 89 will be about 87 and 93 will be about 89. and they are told to just dump the cheapest in first to fill it up the most then use the real stuff. which is going to be stupid

    not enough. germany gets more than we do and we pay twice as much for everything they do. i think i get about $750 per month in COLA. doesn't do much when it cost over $200 to fill up.
