an addition to my 11 second NA ecsb quest that is truely daily drivable i have:
i had the deminsions and tools to make my own but theres now way i woulda matched the quality of the real deal.
also got my ARP flex plate bolts in. arp converter bolts will be here in the next few days. i sheered off the converter bolts once again so im throwing in the arp bolts to finish off the tranny combo (hopefully for good)
the pinion angle will be set to -2* at the initial setting for caltracks and i should be able to adjust it to -3* or possibly 4* by cranking up the preload on the traction bars.
a few little computer tweaks from my buddy charlie wheatley and i should have me a 11 second ecsb truck with a factory sized engine that pulls trailers and cruises to work when necessary. if it doesnt a fast 92/92 setup will definately get me there. then ill install my nitrous express 200 shot and try and blow it up
my new delimma is...mickey et drag 305/45-18 or nitto 555r 305/45-18's. the mt et drags should last about 5,000 miles for about 3 bills per tire and the 555r about 12,000 miles for about 220 per tire. the et drags will definately hook but 5,000 miles to a pair is harsh!
